Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring Scenic Area, Gansu

After breakfast, drive to one of the symbols of Lanzhou "Yellow River Mother`s statue", Baitashan Park,climbing to the top of it you will have a good view of  Lanzhou`s whole sceneries.Then head for Zhangye, about 5 hours`driving  we arrive in Zhangye then have dinner,after dinner head for hotel ,stay in Zhangye overnight.

After breakfast, Head for Zhangye Danxia landform,  Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park has a unique type,which is the most typical arid area of northern China. Ribbons of reds, oranges and yellows slice through the rock, .   with colorful and magnificent landscape, here you will have an unforgetable  experience and then have lunch in Zhangye  you will appreciate the local flavor ,after lunch driving for Jiayuguan, it is the first pass in the world, Jiayuguan Pass is a world-famous dangerous pass at the west end of the Great Wall, and is also one of the most intact section of the Great Wall,it was built during the Ming Dynasty. And Jiayuguan Tower is its highlight ,we cann`t miss it , then go to have dinner with a local flavor,  to night let’s stay at Jiayuguan’s hotel overnight.

Zhangye Danxia landform

After breakfast, head for  Dunhuang nearly 4 hours driving by ride , after arriving in Dunhuang ,first let’s go to the largest and the most abundant Buddhist art site in the world -- Mogao Grottoes (including tickets),we will stay there almost 2 hours, and then go to the unique desert wonders of the Echoing sand mountain (including tickets) and then have lunch, after lunch to visit the Crescent Spring (including tickets) because it resembles a crescent moon hence its  name, known as sand well in ancient times, also known as medicine Spring, during the Qing Dynasty, it was called "Crescent Spring". It is surrounded by the echoing sand mountain for thousands of years it has not been drown away although it is surrounded by quicksand,and it is one of the eight scenic spots of Dunhuang "and this wonder is also called the first spring in the desert" of the world . then have dinner, we will arrange Chinese dishes and local flavor for dinner, after dinner  drive to the hote and lstay in Dunhuang overnight.

Mogao Grottoes

Today we will take the bullet train head for Turpan of Xinjiang（Reference train number：D575 from Liuyuan south 16：32 -  Turpan north 19：54） After breakfast head for Liuyuan train station from Dunhuang ,it will take about 2 hours by ride ,and then according to you train time to Turpan ,after 4hours of bullet train arriving in Turpan ,we will arrange car and tour guide pick you up at the train station and then to have dinner ,tonight you can appreciate our famous Xinjiang cuisine,after dinner go to hotel ,stay in Turpan overnight.

Turpan

After breakfast, we will start our tour in Turpan first let`s drive to the ancient city of Gaochang (including tickets+battery car), the ancient tomb of Astana, and then to the most mysterious place in the west, Tuyoq Valley, It used to be the holy site of Buddhism and Islam. The village consists of four parts: Canyon scenery, Thousand Buddha Caves, Maza tombs and the old buildings of the ancient village.Tuyoq Village is also the oldest Uygur village in Xinjiang, here you can visit the traditional Uygur style buildings,some houses have more than 300 years history , generally speaking it is an amazing experience for you ,then go  to the hottest place in Xinjiang, the Flaming Mountain (including tickets), it is a  barred mountain,  graslesss,only the reddish rock mountain with many ravines and gullies especially under the strong sunshine in summer like smoke curls up hence its name “the flaming mountain” it was so magnificent. Then head for the down town of Turpan ,have dinner and then stay in Turpan Hotel overnight.

Turpan

After breakfast, take the bus to the historic site Jiaohe ruins (including ticket + battery car), has a history of  more than 2300 years ,this ruins lies between two rivers on a loess plateau of Yar valley. It is one of the best preserved ruins of its kind in ancient era of China, it was regarded as the national key cultural relics under the protection of China in 1961. Then go to visit the underground irrigation system -Karez well (including ticket), which is known as one of the three great  projects in ancient China together with the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and the Great Wall, then go to the largest existing ancient minaret in Xinjiang. -Su Gong Minaret(including ticket) , after we finish the above three scenic spots have lunch in Turpan ,then head for Urumqi by ride , it takes about 3 hours. After arriving in Urumqi, enjoy dinner and go to the hotel in Urumqi.

Karez

After breakfast,head for the Heavenly lake (including ticket + shattle bus+battery car),it takes about 1.5hours which is a national 5A scenic spot and a famous summer resort.  Then have lunch at the foot of the Tianshan mountain andafter lunch back to Urumqi by ride, visit the International Grand Bazaar, feel Xinjiang folk customs, taste Xinjiang cuisine.

Today is our last day of our trip ,your enjoyable Silk Road trip is about toan end , according to your flight we will drive to Urumqi international airport to catch your flight Wish you have a pleasant journey home!
